Our Policies

  • Life happens—we get it! Tyee Arts aims to be as flexible as possible while respecting the commitments of our instructors and staff.

    • Cancellations (30+ Days in Advance): You may reschedule, hold your purchase as credit for a future event, or receive a refund, minus platform and handling fees.

    • Cancellations (Within 7 Days): If we are able to rebook your spot, the above options apply. Otherwise, the full price will be retained.

    • No-Shows: Guests who do not arrive for their scheduled event without prior notice will not receive a refund or cancellation options.

    If you need to make changes to your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible!

  • Tyee Arts is a welcoming space for individuals and families to learn, create, and connect.

    Age Requirements

    • Under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

    • Ages 14-18 may attend without a guardian with advance notice.

    Family Accommodations
    We aim to make our space as accessible as possible for families. While most of our workshops are designed for adults, some may be suitable for children or teens. If you’re attending with family, please reach out to discuss accommodations, including quiet spaces or event suitability.

  • Guests who do not arrive for their scheduled event without prior notice will not receive a refund or cancellation options. We appreciate your understanding and respect for our instructors and staff.

  • We are committed to keeping our environment clean and respecting the land, which is why Tyee Arts is a 100% smoke-free facility.

    Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco, e-cigarettes, or cannabis are strictly prohibited in all areas. A $200 fee will be charged if any smoke or open flame (other than designated fire areas) is detected.

  • We love animals, but for the comfort and safety of all guests, all animals must be pre-approved by emailing tyeearts@gmail.com or calling 206-310-8204.

    • We have two friendly miniature Australian Shepherds on-site. While they get along well with other pets, they do not always do well with children.

    • Service Animals (as defined by the ADA) are always welcome and are not considered pets—we still ask to be notified prior to your arrival.

    • Emotional Support Animals and Family Pets require advance authorization. We expect you to keep an eye on and clean up after your animals.

  • Tyee Arts is just 50 minutes from Seattle and the Canadian border, tucked away in ‘The Conway Hills’ just east of I-5, Exit 221.

    Pop 21301 Tyee Rd, Mount Vernon, WA into your GPS. Once on Tyee Road, look for our gate on the left.

    Plenty of spots available north of the Honeychurch Antiques showroom. Please be mindful of driveways.

  • Tyee Arts offers a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces designed for creativity, gathering, and connection with nature.

    Outdoor Spaces

    • Upper and Lower Campus span 80 acres with scenic views.

    • Outdoor patio with seating for 15-20.

    • Natural amphitheater nestled in the landscape.

    • Beaver pond, meadows, and hiking trails to explore.

    • Campsites with a large fire pit.

    Indoor Spaces

    • The Learning Center includes a state-of-the-art custom kitchen. It features over 1,000 square feet of open classroom or dining space, a private heated bathroom, and a washer and dryer.

    • The Honeychurch Antiques Showroom is just steps away, offering a space filled with art and history. This is also where our Iyengar yoga wall and movement classes are held (upstairs; fits approximately 15 people). Another private heated ground-floor bathroom is available here.

  • Tyee Arts is located in south Skagit Valley, surrounded by charming towns, local food spots, and breathtaking nature.

    • Skagit Valley Co-op – Beloved local grocer & café with organic foods and artisanal goods

    • Downtown Mount Vernon – Quaint shops, restaurants, and the historic Lincoln Theatre

    • Snow Goose Produce – Local farm stand famous for immodest ice cream cones and fresh, seasonal produce.
